The best thing you can do for your body and the planet, for your soul, is increase your consumption of fruits, vegetables, legumes and grains - whole foods, grown from the earth, being mindful of where they are sourced from.
The truth is it wasn't an easy transition for me. During the first few months I was depressed and felt very disconnected from the people in my life. My husband and I had to relearn what to eat for every meal. Then it hit me. The only thing different I was doing was eliminating the animal products. I could still cook everything I used to cook, eat what I wanted and save the planet at the same time - even if it was only one animal and one human (me) at a time!
Animal agriculture is one of the biggest factors affecting our carbon footprint, deteriorating our planet. It's also one of the most inhumane ways to support you body. I believe all animals feel fear and anxiety, which get's transferred to the foods you eat. S
As you move through your day, pay attention to where your food comes from, is it energetically supporting your body? Is it harming another being in any way, shape or form. Your soul is connected to every soul on the planet. Commit to making a mindful choice for all life.
